FishReader is a robust data collection system that integrates scales and PEN reader data entry system. It is made specifically for use in aquaculture and designed to automate data entries such as transponder ID number and weight.

The PEN antenna can be used to touch added data points to easily and accurately record data on the sample such as gender (M / F), color, scales and mucus properties, as well as other discrete properties that may be associated with the individual data points.

The data collection system works with TROVANUNIQUE transponders and uses a super
robust piezoelectric keyboard for additional data entry.

FishReader W comes with ZeusCapture software, a configurable software that speeds up data entry and improves data accuracy. Optional features include barcode reader, electronic thermometer or electronic caliper (to measure fishing length).

An optional dashboard allows the operator to place the fish on the board and with a single tap on the PEN antenna, note the length of the fish. The dashboard can hold lengths from 5 to 34 cm.
